Riviera Ligure di Levante
Where land and sea meet
The Riviera di Levante extends from Genoa to the east, comprising about 130 kilometres. Inlets, bays and shelters make this a stunning stretch of coastline. The valleys that descend steeply to the sea, the waves crashing on the rocks, and the fragrant Mediterranean macchia vegetation make the Riviera di Levante one of Northern Italy’s most beautiful landscapes. The area’s many natural parks, including Cinque Terre’s UNESCO-protected national park and the Portofino Marine Park, help to protect and enhance this beautiful region: a place where land, sea and sky converge.
